The next FINE meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 18 at 9:00 A.M. at
the Westport County Playhouse. The agenda for this meeting follows:
9:00 to 9:15 Networking Have you ever thought about owning a franchise? If you're not sure of the costs involved, if the timing is right, if you're cut out for it, what business makes sense and if it is safe, then come to the next meeting. Luc Deslauriers, owner of FranNet CT (www.frannet.com), will share his years of franchise business ownership experience in this informative seminar. Topics will include:
The doors open at 9AM with the opportunity to network, followed by a welcome at 9:15 and each attendee giving their "30 second elevator pitch" as an introduction. This is followed by the presentation and then additional time to network. The meeting concludes by 11AM.
Now in its 17th year, FINE provides peer support, training, client referrals and networking opportunities in a friendly atmosphere. FINE provides the opportunity to meet new people, make business connections and to hear and discuss topics of current interest. FINE was formed by a small group of people who left the corporate world and wanted a place to network and provide support to each other as they ventured out in the world of entrepreneurship. DIRECTIONS TO WESTPORT COUNTRY PLAYHOUSE From I-95(N or S): Exit 17 - Turn left at end of exit ramp and follow Rt 33 North to US 1; turn right on to US 1; cross bridge and the Playhouse is about 1/4 mile, just off the Post Road at 25 Powers Court. From Merritt Parkway (N): Exit 41 - Turn left at end of exit ramp and follow Rt 33 South to US 1; turn left on to US 1; cross bridge and the Playhouse is about 1/4 mile, just off the Post Road at 25 Powers Court. From I-84: Exit 3 - Proceed South on Route 7 to Route 33, at the intersection of US 1 (Post Road) turn left, cross bridge, turn right and the Playhouse is about 1/4 mile, just off the Post Road at 25 Powers Court. Heading east on US 1, the entrance is on the left, just beyond a Getty Station, traffic light and row of the three small houses containing businesses (Coldwell Banker, William Pitt and Countrywide Mortgage). Heading west, the entrance is just beyond the park at the intersection with Compo Road (Route 136). Come in the main entrance and go to the Smilow Lounge on the second floor.
