For well over 100 years Congregation Schomre Israel has been serving the Jewish community in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Situated in Poughkeepsie, New York the congregation boasts a long and renowned history of catering to the spiritual, cultural, educational and social needs of Jews of all ages.

Every Shabbat, a Kiddush of wine and
cake is served following services; however, once a month, an extended repast is served.
For 5769, they will be on September 13, October 4, November 22, December 20, January 24, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 23,
June 20, July 11, August 1 and September 26.

The Sisterhood Gift Shop carries many beautiful items for Shabbat and the holidays.
