"Improving your PC’s Performance” presented by Dave Rubin, Computer Doctor

Date: Monday, October 15, 2007
Time: 7PM - 8:30PM
Location: Social Hall

We begin our new season with Dave Rubin, the owner of the Computer Doctor, presenting ways to help your PC start-up faster and operate faster. He will explain what causes your computer to slow down, such as “cookies“, “temporary” files, fragmented files, etc. He will then discuss the specific actions you can take, including the software tools you should use and how to use them, in order to optimize your system’s performance. Mr. Rubin will also discuss the highlights of Microsoft’s new Windows Vista operating system, the successor to XP, and whether or not it might be advantageous for you to install it on your PC.

At the conclusion, the speaker will be available to answer questions from the audience. New members are welcome to attend and participate.

To become a member or renew membership for 2008, please complete the bottom portion of this flyer and place in the VFCC folder with a $15/member or $20/household check made payable to the Valencia Falls Computer Club.
